They work with healthcare providers, councils, Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), private hospitals, and NHS organizations. More than 15,000 nurses, care managers, and health care workers receive annual training from their highly qualified tutor team.

Scenario Analysis

The existing inventory management processes exhibited deficiencies in effectively overseeing the control, tracking, and replenishment of training-specific equipment and consumables. This resulted in suboptimal resource utilization and logistical inefficiencies within the training domain. Addressing these challenges necessitated a refined approach to inventory management as well as optimizing space and resources without inviting unnecessary costs while within the training context.

Our Solution

A groundwork for an effective inventory management framework, specifically tailored to oversee the procurement, tracking, and replenishment of training-related equipment and consumables was established. These meticulous stock control measures and streamlining logistical operations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and resource utilization within the training domain by ensuring the seamless flow of essential materials for training endeavors.

Business Impact

With pieces of equipment costing us up to £1,800/-, this project has introduced a better tracking and monitoring system to prevent ‘misplacing’ these expensive equipment’s. On our last audit, we realized we are in a better place as we were able to identify the value of the missing items. We now have a great system which can only be further improved using zoho as part of the process evolution. We now have the confidence to invest in more equipment’s and code it all – which is easily delegated to a team member. We are looking at state-of-the-art management where the final piece of the project would be having images for all equipment packs and short tutorial videos and guides on equipment usage and storage built into the system. This will make training easier for the team and also will help with team confidence, reduce losses of equipment and will have a positive impact on growth of the business.”
